Have you ever thought about drugs like marijuana and the history or impact it can cause on your life? Many people do not think about these things when it comes to taking drugs. They just like to take drugs for fun and usually donââ¬â¢t care what happens. Well many people donââ¬â¢t know a lot about marijuana. There are a lot of things you should know before taking any type of drug like marijuana. Some people like to call it marijuana, some people like to call it weed, and some people like to call it cannabis. But have you ever took the time to get to know about this drug? Marijuana has been introduced to the world all the way back to 2337 BC. At first the focus was on itââ¬â¢s power as a medication for people to use such as rheumatism, gout, malaria,â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦In the article ââ¬Å"What are Marijuana Effects?â⬠it says, ââ¬Å"When marijuana is smoked, THC and other chemicals in the plant pass from the lungs into the bloodstream, which rapidly carries them throughout the body to the brain. The person begins to experience effects almost immediately.â⬠It is also known that if marijuana is consumed through food or beverages the effects are delayed. Although Marijuana may be fun to people, there are dangers that you should be cautious about. Marijuana can be very addicting. Most of the people who are addicted to Marijuana are under 21 years of age. In, ââ¬Å"Hidden Dangers of Marijuanaâ⬠it says, ââ¬Å"Dangers in the immediate effects of marijuana include distortions of time and space perceptions and impaired coordination, all of which may be contributing to the increased risk of traffic accidents recently discovered. Particularly important for students to know about is the creation of difficulty thinking or problem solving and impairment of memory and learning. These difficulties can last for as long as four weeks after drug use.â⬠These drugs may not seem harmful, but they definitely can be dangerous no matter wh at drug it is especially when people abuse the drug.
